Turkish banker convicted in U.S. of helping Iran seeks lenient sentence

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A Turkish banker who was found guilty of helping Iran evade U.S. sanctions following a trial that featured accusations of corruption against top Turkish officials asked a U.S. judge on Monday to "temper justice with mercy" and impose a lenient sentence.
